The series began with the 778X in 2022: Mission’s first integrated amplifier under its own name in nearly 40 years. Drawing inspiration from the original 1983 Mission 778, it combines classic simplicity with contemporary features and captivating sound.
The 778S wireless music streamer followed as Mission’s first dedicated network player. It provides effortless access to modern streaming platforms while delivering stable, high-fidelity playback with exceptional musical purity, housed in the same compact, elegant chassis.
